01 Ex Starter problem
I have a 2001 Accord EX 2 dr coupe, 5 sp manual transmission, 4 cyl.
I am having trouble with starting. I get a click and then nothing when turning key. Most times, iwhen I try a second time, car will start. Sometimes it takes 3, 4 or 5 triies. Have just replaced battery with new one, so have ruled out battery. Terminals and connections are all clean and good.
Believe the problem may be in Neutral Safety Switch? But not sure how to check this. 7 year old car has had some other minor electrical bugs that I have fixed (micro-switch in seat belt!) and am hoping this one is similar.
Help appreciated

Only automatics havea neutral-safety switch. Yours has a clutch switch instead. If that's broken (or if the clutch pedal isn't pressed down), the starter won't even 'click'. Can you pinpoint the location of the 'click'?
