Default 02 Accord EX V6 Coupe

Hi Folks,

New here and new to Honda. Picked up a '02 Accord EX V6 coupe with 120K miles and auto trans. Dealer I bought it from says the oil was changed. No idea on anything else (timing belt?).

Had an independent service station look it over before I bought and they provided me with a completed checklist. Only thing they said it needs is an alignment and that the tranny fluid was 1 quart over filled (they did not remove the extra quart).

I want to drive this thing for years to come.

What are things I need to do/look for as I have absolutely no history on the vehicle outside of a clean carfax?

Thanks!
James

Only real issue that affects these cars is the auto transmission. Mine is a 99 V6 Coupe with just 45k on (one elderly owner from new), and the service record shows its been changed every 3 years, at about 14k intervals.

I bought it 2 months ago and recently took it down to the local honda dealer for a 'once over. He mentioned that as long as you change the cam belt within spec, and changed the tranny oil every 24k, then it should go on forever bar the usual odd age related issue.
