Default 03 Accord Sedan Rattling Noise from DASH

Helpmy 03 Accord Sedan has an annoying rattling noise coming from inside the dash. The dealer removed the instrument cluster, radio/navi, glove box, and said they heard it while they drove the car without those items in the car to diagnose it. They then removed the dash and tape insulation around the air ducts & thought it fixed the problembut it didn't. What could be causing this? I don't want to trade the car, but it's really driving me crazy.HELP!

Go for a ride with a friend and try and pin point the noise location. Go from there. It could be anything. Did you have any aftermarket items installed in the dash?

no aftermarket stuff installed ever, but the same dealer who now cannot seem to fix it re-wired my underdash harness because they broke one of the plug leads. they replaced the brake abs modulator 10 months ago when they did that. the car has been dealer serviced from day 1....most recent service is 75k svc done at 83k miles including replacement of master cylinder.

I'd look at that electrical connection ..... if it's not secured properly, it can vibrate against the inside of a trim piece or other support that's in there.

A comparable piece in my car is the power lead to the cigarette lighter. When I take the panel out, the clip comes free easily, but I have to remember to put it back in place as I'm reinstalling the panel ...... I've had to open and fix that one a few times already, just because I forgot to clip it into place.
