03 Accord V6 screeching noise?
Hi, I have a 2003 Honda Accord v6 and the problem that I am having is that my car is making a screeching noise on the rear of the car driver side. I have noticed that it happens usually over speed bumps or over bumpy roads. I am NOT applying the brake when it occurs. What could be the problem?

I would inspect the brake pad just to be sure that the metal tab is not hitting the rotor.
The anti-sway bar end-links and/or bushings can make these sorts of noises. A worn out upper ball joint is another possibility.

Hi, I actually came to this forum trying to find info on a similar problem...
I have the same Accord, '03/V6/automatic/4-door, and on my drive to work this morning a loud squealing sound just started emanating from the rear end of my car. The sound was was loud and steady the entire time I was driving (about 20 minutes until I got to the parking garage), not just when going over bumps, etc. The sound would cease when I came to a stop, but began immediately as soon as I got going again...
Does anyone have an idea what this might be? Does it sound severe enough that I should be worried about a 30 minute drive back home after work?
Thanks in advance for any assistance...

"freddyd"-sounds like the rear pads are in need of inspection/replacement. There is a "wear" sensor on them, by your description, it is telling you they need inspection/replacement. Listen to it before it costs more to repair.

The rear pads wear faster than the front on these cars (I also have an 03 V6). I would check the rear brake pads. Just looking through the wheel, at the outer pad, is not good enough because the inner pad will wear quicker than the outer pad.

Did your noise get resolved
I have the same problem on my 03 Accord V6 4 door. The brakes are fine but it sounds just like the sounds when your pads are getting low.
