has to be diagnosed for the fault. let me ask, does your seatbelt light come on still when you start the car, or more importantly does it light up when you release the drivers side seatbelt?

Do this test. Fasten your seatbelt first, then turn the key to on. If the light doesn't stay on, your problem is probably the driver's side seat belt buckle. Then, just for kicks, unbuckle the seat belt, then turn the key off, then back on, and watch the airbag light stay on. The buckle is a lifetime warranty item, and Honda should not charge you to change it.
