Default 04 Accord: A/C cooling fan question pls

04 Accord EX, 4 cyl, 2.4L

During a recent service, mechanic told me:

"Driver's side A/C cooling fan is not working, only passenger side is working."

Can just the driver's side fan be replaced without replacing both? I'm not finding parts for a single driver's side fan.

Thx

Yes, the motor can be replaced. Shroud is a single piece. check ebay for replacement motors. Some wiring req'd to attach harness from old motor to new motor.

good luck

The fan on the driver side is considered the radiator fan and passenger side is A/C condenser fan.

Rockauto and Amazon show FOUR SEASONS 75750 as the motor replacement for the radiator fan motor. There may be other aftermarket sellers.

When I am trying to figure out the problem, it can either be:

1. A bad fan motor.
2. No power at the fan.

If the fan has no power at the electrical connector, then you have to start working backwards to figure out why it is not getting power (switch, relay, wiring, etc...) You have to know how to use the volt meter and how the electrical circuit works on your car.
