'04 Accord ignition noise
I just recently purchased an '04 Accord LX after driving a '94 Accord EX for 9 years. I notice sometimes when I am cranking up the ignition it will make a buzzing noise. My wife has an '03 Accord and says it makes this noise because I am not pushing in the key. Is this correct and am I tearing up the ignition when this noise occurs?
Thanks for any assistance.

My 03 does this as well. If the key switch stays between on, and start (I and II) for any length of time, you will hear the buzzing. I don't think it will hurt anything, cause my car has always done this. The problem is, you have to turn the key soooo far from the off position to start position, your wrist has a hard time rotating that far. If you turn the switch to on, then re-position your hand, and turn it to start, it probably will not stay between positions long enough to hear the buzz. I assume the buzzing is to tell you the key is not turned far enough.

relay
More then likely its the turn signal relay buzzing, and a new one wont solve the problem they say maybe a bad ground so tighten all the 10mm with copper washer grounds all around the relay and under the hood I`ll let you know what my buzzing is caused from if i ever find out.but its the turn signal relay buzzing when key is turned...If you already figured yours out let me know.Thank You

buzzing noise at start- 04 accord
I also have a buzzing noise when I start my 2004 accord. I had the starter replaced and this did not help.
here is a link to a video I made when starting it the other day. Turn your volume way up to hear it better. Any thoughts are very much appreciated.

The buzzing noise you are most likely hearing is from the starter cut relay (located in the under-dash fuse relay box). However, the issue usually is not the relay itself; but, may be due to the ignition switch. It is more annoyance than anything else.
The problem also was seen in other model Hondas.
