Default 04 Accord starter relay and power window question

I have two part numbers fo rthe 2004 V6 Accord starter relay , is one of these correct? or can you post the correct number , the car won't start the first time you try to start it , you have to try 2 to 5 times then it starts right up (nothing happens when you try to start it , engine does not turn over) battery terminals are clean , I am thinking it is the starter relay or starter solenoid or starter , all other stuff works , what to look for?

39794-SDA-9O2 or 39794-S1O-003

Power window issues

Also the right side front door power window does not work , you can hear clicking from the door when yo uhit the window switch , all other windows work? I am thinking bad motor? or what? there is clicking from a relay or something but no motor noises and it doe not work no matte rhow many times you hit the switch.

Thanks again for your time and held on these issues.

See following link for part no. 6. It appears that starter will need to be partially disassembled to replace solenoid. Most folks opt to replace entire starter unit.

Honda Automotive Parts

You will need to access power window regulator to determine if window is frozen or regulator damaged. Most likely regulator/motor will need to be replaced (integral unit). A shop manual is essential to guide door panel removal. Also check youtube for videos on door panel removal and window regulator replacement.

good luck

Thanks for the info , so it would not be the relay under the dash?

If starter is clicking when keyswitch is turned to Start, but no starter turn-over, the starter solenoid contacts are worn, preventing enough electrical current to turn starter over.

If starter is silent when keyswitch is turned to Start, then starter cut relay is possible. It also could be a faulty keyswitch assy.

My 03 did this a couple times. Absolutely nothing happens when turning the key. I was thinking it could be the shift position/neutral safety switch, since it acts much like it would trying to start the car with the shift in D. When I put the shift lever in Neutral, it started, but maybe that was just a coincidence. It happens so rarely, it's hard to troubleshoot it.

Starter cut relay is in under dash fuse/relay box, behind driver's kick panel.

good luck
