05 Accord Hybrid IMA batteries
Hello everyone, just got a 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid last tuesday and so far i'm impressed with it.
I do have several questions about this car, what happens if the IMA batteries are completely used up while driving. Also could these batteries get used up while driving? I only read a bit of the manual, and so far the batteies charge while I let go of the gas pedal and when i'm braking. Is there a way to charge these batteries from an extension cord?
As you can tell my main concern are these batteries, I never owned a hybrid and wonder if they could pose an issue.
Another question is if anyone has any information about these cars please let me know. I would like to get as much info as I can.
Thank you

The engine will charge the batteries, plus the Accord V6 Hybrid is mostly engine, not so much battery compared to the Insight or Prius.
As long as the batteries aren't so dead the car won't start you will be able to drive on 100% engine.
