ABS brakes? Are you sure it doesn't have TCS or VSA?

It helps to know the exact specs of the car were dealing with. Vague information gets vague responses.

Ok sorry. I put it under new because I am new to this site I just bought an 08 accord v6 ex L. Sweet car by the way. But this 07 accord I have not yet seen. Im a mechanic and do some stuff on the side and this lady my mom knows has this 07 and wants me to look at it this weekend. I searched TSB technical service bulletins and found nothing she took it to stealership and they said bad gas. This lady has always run premium 91octane and only requires 87 and even at that we are at 6300 ft elevation which probly dont even need that good of gas. Im going off what she has told me on phone that it fells like traction control enabling but doesnt have it. seems to me like gets to cold or wet and has electrical problem causing it to happen. just looking to see if anyone has had some sort of same similar problem and possibly what the fix was.

The problem with forums as a general rule is that there is "diagnosis by storytelling." It is just the nature of forums. The ability to give help and advice becomes infinitely harder when the story teller is untrained in mechanical systems. But it is impossible to guess how much harder it is to diag when the story has been filtered through another person first. It doesn't matter how good the tech is if the customer doesn't relay enough valid usable information.

I once heard a story of a lady that paid thousands to a chain auto shop for a noise in the front end. It was under warranty and they replaced lots of front end parts to fix her noise. And since she didn't go to a dealer it cost her instead of being warranty. When someone finally rode with her and she demostrated the noise it was the engine lugging. She was driving a manual trans and rounding corners in fifth. Nobody ever told her that you have to downshift.

And I thing I forgot to add. I remember all 2007 accords regardless of engine having traction control. There should be a little button on the left side of the dash that says VSA. It is traction control, abs, and stabilty assist all rolled into roll. You can turn off the traction and stabilty control but not the abs.
