Default 09 Accord Starting Issue

2009 Honda Accord 4 cylinder ex-l. 98k miles. About 4-6mos ago the starter went out, no sign it was dying, it just died. Replaced it with one from advance auto parts and it started fine but I noticed a random long crank but it always started. Well, tonight it long cranked longer than it's ever done and threw a cel P0339 but ran fine. I'm seeing mixed opinions on what this could be. Any advice?

P0339 is an interruption in the crank position sensor circuit. It could be the sensor, electrical connector, wiring, or PCM. You may want to look at the wiring nearby to see if there is obvious damage or possible corrosion in the electrical connector. Most of the time, the sensor needs replaced, but you would have to do some electrical testing to verify the sensor is bad.
