Default 1989 Accord Carburetor questions..

Hi, Daughter purchased an 89 and someone had been messing with Carb. Went to wrecking yard and pulled a nice (or so we thought) carb. that appeared not to have been messed with ($35.) Installed it carefully (we think), but seems to be a leak at what I believe is the accelerator pump where the two pieces come together and there is a big steady stream of fuel at an idle coming out of the front venturi. Is there a doc that might address this or how to adjust the multiple settings that control the carb function.
Thanks in advance for anything you can provide.

Fuel dumping is usually caused by a sunk float, or bad needle and seat.
You should be able to see the fuel level in the sight glass on the drivers side of the carb body.
If not, pinch off the fuel line and see if the level drops to where you can see it.

Well, seems having fuel in it cured several issues. The fuel dumping is gone, but now can't get the idle down. The throttle cable is loose, so it's somewhere else. Should I tackle the knurled *** in the back (though I'm thinking it was probably close when the car it came from was wrecked.
