1990 Accord engine won't (easily) start when warm
I have a 1990 Honda Accord 2.0. It starts nicely when it's cold, it also always starts when it's fully warm, I mean when it's been shut down for only a few minutes.
However, when it has been fully warm, but has been cooling down for about 30 to 60 minutes (typically when I go to the grocery store), it often won't start. I mean it starts and stalls right away, and then won't start normally again (I mean without pressing the gas pedal).
Eventually it will start with the instructions in the user manual:
1) Press the gas pedal halfway down and try to start
2) Press the gas pedal fully down and try to start
It often starts in phase 2) after about 10 seconds of ingnition. Sometimes I have to do 1,2,1 or 1,2,1,2, or even more.
Any ideas what could be wrong?

Hello new member...
Welcome to the forums..
Your problem sounds to me to be caused by your fuel system not getting enough fuel to the injectors. You could have a vacume leak @ the gasket between the intake manifold and the
throttle body.
A fuel pressure check could get your answer to your problem answered..if you have a friend who has a set of gages, see if he will check this for you.

its a carb.....lets switch strategies.............
bad gasket between the intake manifold and the head
bad gasket between the carb and the intake manifold
bad gasket in the carb
fuel pump problem or accelerator pump problem
deserthonda is real good with diagnosing the carbs.... hopefully he stops by

you need to diagnose ,, if it is lack of fuel or lack of spark when car does not start ,, try this quick test to determine it..
