1990 Accord stops running like i turned the key off
My 1990 honda accord Will start and run for a second then turns off like I turn the key off then it wont start again. I have turned the key on to start the engine then let out the clutch to stop the starter then push the clutch back in to engage the starter. I do this a few times and then it starts and keeps running. The only thing I have done to this car is change the starter well before this showed up. Do I have a bad ground or maybe a bad key egnission? I dont know where to check. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

Does this problem occur when the interior is hot? After sitting in the sun all day?
When you turn on the key listen for the fuel pump to run as the CEL is on; approx 2-3 seconds. The main relay allows the pump to pressurize the system.
Or you can try letting the key back from the crank postion slowly to see if the ignition switch contacts, might be the problem.
Although ignition switch contacts would usually cause a more random engine shut down.
To rule out cold start flooding, have fresh spark plugs, turn the key on, wait for the CEL to go off, then crank the engine.
