1990 honda accord ex oil leaking into distributor cap
i have a 1990 honda accord ec with an f22a1 engine. i noticed oild leaking on to my transmission.i took off the distributor cap and noticed a puddle of oil inside of the cap. i heard and been told before its the o-ring. how can i get to it? is there i diagram i can get to help guid me? because its been 2 years since i worked on a honda distributor. thanks

That's not the O-ring. The distributor O-ring is around the part of the distrubutor body that sticks into the head. A leaky O-ring would leak out right where the distributor attaches to the engine - not INSIDE the distributor.
You have a leaky distributor shaft seal inside the distributor. The official factory story is that's not replaceable - you have to buy a new distributor. But some people have found a replacement seal & they've replaced it. Search around here, I think it's been posted by someone (not me).

you can buy the internal seal from partstrain.com or amazon. I bought it from amazon for $24. You can buy o-ring from dealer, it is cheap, a couple dollars.
