1992 Accord No Start After Fuel Filter Change
Im hopping someone can help me out. I did some work to the wifes car the other day. As in work I meen, air intake gaskets and new fuel filter. I did the gaskets and all went well. My wife drove the car to work the next day, later that night I replaced the fuel filter. But now it wont start. Has great spark, but Im not smeeling fuel. I pulled off the gas cap and the tank had pressure. Does anyone think that the crush washer in the filter could be causing this problem? Has anyone else had this happen to them?
Thanks

I guess that anything is possible. You could loosen up the banjo bolt, then tighten it back down.
I think those filters are directional, so did you install the lines correctly? The banjo bolt goes over the part that has the two prongs to support the hose. It may be impossible to switch them, but I had to ask.

The last time I replaced the fuel filter on my '93 I had to start it in flood mode that first time. Held the pedal to the floor while turning the key. It started after turning over about 10 times. I guess somethng other than the normal priming was needed. The other thing you might try is loosening the gas cap before trying to start it. Maybe some more air would help it get going that first time.
