1993 Accord EX Idle Surge When Cold
Hi,
I have a 1993 Accord EX and when I start it up cold the idle surges up to about 2500 and down to approx 1000 for about less than 5 minutes, once it gets warm it goes away and has a steady idle, Also once its warm and I put in in gear and have my foot on the brake and keep the steering wheel turned either left or right, the steering wheel vibrates quite a bit.
any ideas what could be wrong?
thanks

Could try cleaning the IACV & the FITV (search for those terms).
There's a thread somewhere about cleaning & tightening the FITV.
Also, clean up the throttle body (throttle plate & bore).
Remove any air from cooling system (really!).
This would be better in General Tech, so I'll move it.
