Question 1993 AT shift problem

1993 Anniversary Accord 2.2 Auto. When I am on the highway driving steady, the trans bounces in and out of the lockout/overdrive.
The rpms jump up and down about 200 rpm's. Other than that it shifts well. The fluid has been changed.
Any advice? Thanks.

my dad had a 92 accord with that problem and it ended up being a sensor for the cooling fans, he spent over 3k on a tranny and computers and after all that it was just a sensor, that being said it could also be a lockup solenoid

Default Did this get Resolved?

Hi, my 93 accord wagon is doing the exact same "highway driving steady, the trans bounces in and out of the lockout/overdrive", my RPM goes from 2700 to 2900 on Freeway. Thanks for any light you can shed on this? Thanks much.

Well the same questions apply, didn't see any of that....Are there any stored codes?

Fluid is in good condition and at the proper level?....we can debate but I strongly suggest Honda fluid for anything from the 4th gen's and up.

Throttle control cable is adjusted and moving properly?

All mounts are in good condition?

Remove and clean the lock up solenoids?
