1994 Honda Accord Ex: Car won't start sometimes because the check engine light
I'm having trouble figuring out what's goin on with my car. In the morning if it's hot or if it's been raining, my car won't start and the check engine light is on. But usually if it's been about 10 or 15min and my car is in the on position. U can here the fuel pump humming then the check engine light shuts off and my car is able to crank. I just want to find out what's wrong, Please help!

Explain some more.
"... if it's been about 10 or 15 minutes..."
You mean you wait after trying to start? Then try again or keep trying during that time?
When you hear the fuel pump, does it always start?
When it does NOT start, does the starter crank the engine? Or does it not crank at all?

Ok, when my car sits for a while it's hard for it to start(check engine light is always on when it does this)....So usually when waiting I'm guessing around 10 to 15min....my check engine light shuts off(car is able to crank)...So all I'm trying to do is figure out why it doesn't crank when the check engine light is on. That's my only problem.

Seems strange. The check-engine light has no way to prevent the starter motor from running. (I originally guessed that you meant it cranked but didn't start.)

There's some instructions for retrieving the error codes that are stored because of the check-engine light.

Starter doesn't click...It's crazy bcuz it's been cold and dry my car cranks right up...with no problems, but when it rains or weather is really hot because there's humidity where I stay at....it takes a while to get the motor to start right up.

I'm not sure if the 94 is the same as my sister's 91, but i noticed that the connector that plugs into the right side of the fuse panel (toward front of car) contains the wire for the starter... hers had a loose pin causing it to not crank sometimes when it was hot outside... i fixed it by squeezing the pin a little to make if fit tighter... might be something to check. Also aftermarket security systems can sometimes malfunction and make the car not crank...
