1995 4dr Lx v6 Cabin Filters?
I need to replace the cabin air filters in my accord and wanted to try to DIY. I was told its a matter of removing the glove box. Any know if there is a detailed manual or online info that would cover this.
I'd also like confirmation that the 95 actually has in cabin filters as a couple posts here seem to suggest cabin filters started in 98. ALthough my mechanic said i needed to replace in cabin air filter, but he's not a honda dealer so maybe just an idiot?
Do i go with OEM replacement part or any brand will do?
thanks,
jmr

Accords seem to have started their Cabin air filters in 1998 as far as I can tell by the web site www.micronair.us/ take a look!

RE: 1995 4dr Lx v6 Cabin Filters?
Ok so if there is not a cabin filter, what do i do about dust blowing out of A/C vents? I also have a mold/musty smell when either heat or A/C is on. I recently had the A/C re-charged and i almost always have air on re-circulate. I'm guessing this is not going to be a cheap or easy fix. Any DIY approach to fixing dust/mold issues?
thanks guys.

to properly clean it,, you need to remove the evaporator ( under the dash) , to do so you have to evacuate and than recharge the a/c system.
Once evap is out, remove all the screws and clips around the plastic covers, remove all the debris that you will find , clean the cases with soap and water, you might have to replace the upper and lower insulation, depending on their condition , plug the inlet lines at the evap ( duct tape ) clean the evap with a water hose
before reinstalling it, make sure that the water has all dripped off or if you have compressed air blow it out ..
once all clean, spray some ( fridgy fresh ) or some other smell good stuff on the evap, cases ans insulators , put all together, reinstall in the car, hook up the a/c lines,, put system under a vacc for at least 1/2 hr . recharge a/c system
