Default 1995 Accord at random won't start. all accessories, light, etc still work.

At random My 1995 Accord won't start. All the Accessories work so I don't think its the battery. I tired jumping the car and that didn't work. The symptoms are the same if you forget to push in the clutch while starting the car. I don't hear the starter or anything.

Any ideas would be helpful.

Thank you,
Ken

I would get the battery/alternator/starter tested just be thorough at a place like advance auto parts or O'Reillys.

If your car has a manual transmission, hold the key in the start position and pump the clutch pedal. See if it starts.

You can also test for 12V at the black/white wire on the starter to ground (valve cover bolt). That is the smaller wire, not the one from the battery. You will need someone in the car pushing down the clutch and holding the key in the start position. If you have 12V, then something is wrong with the starter.

Don't forget to check for a broken clutch-pedal switch.
