1995 ex hard start and idles up and down
1995 accord ex that starts on the second to fourth attempt. It sometimes bogs down when I try to accelerate-its happening more frequently. Sometimes when in neutral the idles goes up and down continuously. I have a new cap, rotor, plugs, wires, fuel pump, timing belt, and water pump. I tried cleaning the throtle but not sure how thorough the cleaning was. The cleaning helped a little but it soon went back to its old ways. I have a AT and no blinking D4 lights or anything else. Any help will be appreciated. Thx

Was the idle problem happening before you changed the timing belt?
The first thing I would do is bleed any air from the coolant. Trapped air can mess up the idle.
The next thing I would do is remove the snorkel from the throttle body and cover the lower port inside the throttle body with your finger while the engine is running. If the idle stabilizes, then tighten the FITV assembly until it is snug.
The common DIY thread on top of the gen tech help forum has a link for FITV cleaning.
There are some ericthecarguy videos on solving idle problems that you can watch. He also has videos on how to bleed the coolant. Just do a google search and you should find them.

I went thru the same problem I even took it to Honda dealer they told me it was thermostat housing 400 bucks later same thing.... After some research I figured it out took less than an hour an a bottle of throttlebody cleaner 1. Remove throttle body.2. Remove fit valve its under throttle body it has a brass cover on it. U open the brass cover and u turn that white **** all the way hand tight don't spray nothing their. 3.IACV remove the gaskets know spray throttle body IACV let them dry assemble that should fix it.
