1995 EX Won't start, Main relay OK, no power to fuel pump

1995 EX 4 cyl Vtec:
I had just replaced the fuel filter, and when I did that I pulled the wire loose from the fuel pump so I could play the radio while I worked. Realized I had the ignition in run position for a while later. Finished that and car drove fine for one day. Next day I go to start it, and the check engine light stays on for about 10 seconds before I hear the fuel pump come on. Then it cranks. Keeps doing that and seems to get longer and longer before the fuel pump comes on. Cranked it maybe 4 or 5 times, then last time I smelled something burning from dash and it won't start. I pulled the main relay, thought it smelled kind of smokey. Replaced still no start.
I tried to pull codes before replacing main relay, got nothing from the Check engine light, tranmision code was 14

There is a 220UF 35 volt electrolytic cap inside the ECM that shorted out, and burned a curcuit in two. it was righ next to the reverse polarity diode. this curcuit directs 12 Volt into various parts on the board.
I managed tyo replace the cap, and repaired the burned curcuit trace with a piece of buss wire....after that, it started right up.
