1995 honda accord lx 4cyl...A/C wont turn on!!!
The air conditioner my the car stopped working around march april. None of the lights turn on for it. It rarely and randomly turns on but only for seconds at a time. I dont have the money for an electrician and wanted to try it on my own.

Not much to go on. I'd have the system presure tested. Does the heat work,,,,blower works but no cold air. Rad fans come on when the a/c does work.
If you are ok with working on it yourself, get the manual-if you don't already, check/search the DIY section for places to get one- work your way back from the compressor to find out why the power is not getting to the compressor.

You will need a volt meter. You need to know how to read voltage and open/closed circuit to do the tests.
You should also download the 94 shop manual from the spooner link in the online manuals thread in the DIY section.
Check the #8 fuse in the box under the driver's dash. See pic for fuse location.
Also, does the blower inside the car work?

At first the A/C would work hot and cold then the cold air stopped blowing. Then the A/C would run then turn off. Now it wont turn on at all. None of the lights will turn on that would normally designate which button was in use but the lights for description will turn on when i use regular car lights, like normal.

AC systems have a pressure switch that keeps the compressor off if the refrigerant leaks out of the system. This is to keep the compressor from running without the refrigerant, which also has lubricant in it. So you should first check the system to see that you have enough refrigerant in there.
