1995 Honda Accord LX electrical question
Ok, I just had the dashboard wiring harness replaced. Heres the problem.
Driving home I noticed the passenger light dashboard blinking very fast (not like when a bulb is out. Like there was a loose wire) On the drive home the light just stayed solidly on. (Left blinker worked normal still) When I turned the car off I noticed the passenger blinker light was still on.
Heres another weird part. I ended up having to remove the fuse #30 in the engine compartment fuse box to get it to turn off.
Also, when i try the turn signals without the brake light fuse (#30) they work just fine, but as soon as i put it back in the turn signal lights go back on.
Any ideas on what i could check?
Also, Im looking for a wiring diagram for the turn signals for the same car

This probably goes back to your original thread regarding the No. 30 fuse blowing. You most likely have a short in the wiring or a connector. The wire insulation may be nicked, etc. there.

From looking at the electrical circuit diagrams, the Wht/Yel wires for the horns may be touching the Grn/Yel wire for the front right turn signal at or near the connector C210. Check the wiring at the C210 connector, it is a brown colored 14-P connector located behind the right side of the dash.

But if i replaced the entire wiring harness how likely is it that the same wire has a short? What connectors might you be talking about as again I did have the entire harness replaced?
BTW, the old harness was melted in many spots. Even the Flasher Relay under the dashboard fuse box was melted

From the wiring diagrams, the common area where I see the wiring for the Wht/Yel wire (from fuse 30) may come near something related to the turn signals is at connector C210. The location of C210 is at the picture I attached in my previous post. The Wht/Yel wire is always hot (stays on).
If it is not a short near C210, it could be related to the flasher relay located in the under-hood fuse/relay box.

Ok, finally got this mess sorted out..What Im assuming started the whole issue. Underneath the fender I had the plastic wheelwell missing. Not realizing that some of the wiring harness ran under here. In having 17" rims the tires i guess gradually wore down the plastic and exposed the wires. These wires include the horn wire and lights. With all these wires touching it was causing all the above problems..Everything has been rewired and is running excellent..All I can say is check everything...Thanks to RedBull-1 who was helping out.
