1996 accord electrical issue
I have a 1996 accord 5 speed manual i have been working on throughout the year. i recently got done swapping the K-member on it, and left it for a week because the brakes needed to be bleed and i was going to do that on my next day off. I showed up the next weekend, tried jumping the car, and right as i hooked up the jumper cables, my horn started blaring, and my brake lights turned on. I'm not sure exactly what would cause that, maybe a bad ground. i was seeing if there was somewhere i could get a wiring diagram for this, or if there is some other answer someone may know about for this. Any help is appreciated. TIA
Edit: not sure if it’s important, but my clockspring is broken, I’ve driven like that for months and no issue, but if it could cause sometning to happen with it, it might be good information.

Edit: I have also pulled the fuse for the horn and started it so it’s not blaring, and when I put the fuse back in it still continues to blare, wouldn’t starting the car reset it as well?

Definitely suggest tracking down why the horn is constantly on. I'd probably start by pulling the horn relay to figure out why the relay is constantly on.
Google CD7_CD9.pdf That is a 94 accord shop manual and should be pretty close to the 96 accord with the horn and brake lights.

I have been looking into it, and i found a diagram that said a white/yellow wire goes to the horn that crosses into the brake lights, so i was gonna check that wire out next time im down there. i dont know too much about wiring, is there a common issue (in general, not just with this) that could cause something like that to always be hot?

The two circuits shouldn't be related. If you had some kind of aftermarket security system in the car, then a faulty security system could definitely cause some problems depending on how it is wired.
Take a look under the driver's dash to look for any obvious signs of an aftermarket system like wires randomly routed and eventually running to a control unit. OEM wiring tends to be neat an contained in the plastic sheathing.
