Default 1996 Accord F22 SOHC

I bought a not running accord I re-timed it and it started and runs great. Once i took it around the block and noticed the car warmed up, it dies out. So far I have cleaned the egr, and maf. I know that when i first got the engine running 2 misfire codes and a cylinder position sensor code came up. I deleted those and they have not came back and currently it will die out but once it dies no light comes on. any input ?

You haven't cleaned the MAF because the car doesn't have one of those.

When it warms up & stalls, will it re-start? Can you keep it running with the throttle (but it just won't idle)?

Try setting the base idle. It might be that the FITV is holding the idle up so it doesn't stall; UNTIL it warms up.

If it WON'T re-start, then you have to figure out whether it's lack of fuel or lack of spark.

after it dies it is possible to restart but i get no cel when it dies. I can keep it running by holding the throttle up with the gas pedal.

What did you do to re-time the car?

Have you inspected the maintenance items like distributor cap, distributor rotor, and spark plugs?

New wires is what you need.

i put the new wires on and now it fixed two of the codes but left me with a misfire in cylinder 1 i tried changing the plug and the code was still there. this misfire starts once the car warms up
