Few weeks ago filled A/C with Freon and was working like a charm. Recently turned on A/C and just the fan would blow warm air without the A/C motor kicking in.
Heard no weird noises before this happened. No knocks, etc.,
Where would be the best places to look for repair. I know the hoses are fine.
Fuse, Relay? short circuit?
Thanks

Most likely leak has lost refrigerant until the low pressure cut-out switch prevents compressor from engaging. You can check by shorting pressure cut-out switch connector near the receiver/drier on pax side, near the battery. If compressor engages when AC is commanded on, then low pressure is confirmed.
Don't run more than 30 secs because the low pressure cut-out function is to prevent compressor running when charge is too low to carry lubricant. If you run too long, you could damage compressor.
good luck
