1996 Honda Accord difficulty starting
I have a '96 Accord LX. Having difficulty starting. Turn the key, all the electronics work, but it either doesn't start or it has a hard time starting. Almost like the battery is dying, but I had the battery checked and it can hold a load. Any ideas?

A little more info please. Does the starter spin just the motor won't start up and run....or is the starter not spinning, turn the key and nothing.
May or may not matter, depends on where this goes, is this an auto or manual trans.

i have a 96 accord EX and mine only has hard start when im almost out of gas.... so you got a full tank? if not, check spark plugs for extreme wear (old, lots of carbon on them) Indeed... do battery terminals have corrosion on them (white stuff that looks like crack "lol") but ya

Also, when you turn the key do you here a rapid clicking sound? But the engine does not turn over? This is also a sign of a weak battery or bad connection.
Neighbor kid come over to ask me how to pull the starter, said he had one bolt out, but could not get to the other, been trying for hours. After we talked for about ten minutes, I concluded he had dirty and loose battery terminals. He cleaned them up and they tightened up and he has not had any issue since.
