1997 Accord Battery Light
Battery Light staying on and would appreciate your thoughts. 1997 Honda Accord Coupe 4 Cylinder A/T. Replaced Alternator (diodes bad in prior) and Replaced Battery.....Light Stays on....... Removed Alternator and took to Alternator Rebuilder's Shop, they Bench Tested and all is well. It's charging,......Car started and idling 14.5 V.......all accessories on at idle 13.6.......1500 rpms 14.3 Volts. Thinking I may still have an issue with Alternator, I replaced with another new rebuilt Alternator......but had the same results. So I've rulesd out Alternator.
I know the Blue/White wire off Alternator goes to Battery Light, and also the Oil Pressure Light is fed by same wire. Which branches off to Oil light before it continues onto Battery Light. The Oil Light is Functioning as it should but I'm thinking perhaps the wiring beyond the Oil Light is possibly Bad?......I'm lost and opened for any suggestions.

Moved you post to a new thread to make the original thread less confusing.
I'll look at my shop manual when I get home to refresh my memory on the wiring. Are you good with electrical testing with a volt meter or test light?

Looking at the wiring diagram, I'd unplug the electrical connector to the alternator voltage regulator. See if the battery light turns off.
The wht/blu wire also goes to the ABS and Integrated control unit. If your battery light is still on after unplugging the alternator, then you will have to start testing/unplugging the abs control module and look at the integrated control unit (I believe this is connected at the driver's cabin fuse box).

Search google for cd7_cd9.pdf
The first site is wedophones has the 94-97 shop manual as a pdf that should help.
Start the electrical tests on page 23-115.
The other option is to inspect the wire harness for the 4-pin connector for signs of rubbing, where maybe one of the wires is damaged and grounding.
