Default 1997 Cabin Air Filter?

OK, I am new here and I did use the search function to see if I could find the answer. it's either not there or I missed it but I did try!

I just need to know 2 things.

1) I have a 1997 Honda Accord SE 4 Banger Auto and want to know if I have a cabin air filter. If so, I need to change it as this car smells like espresso and egg farts. lol

2) I have some door trim that while in good shape (not cracking or anything) is kinda loose. I don't want to replace it, just have it hold on there better without using gorilla or super glue. Any suggestions as to what to use to do that?

Great site, thanks for the help!

what part of the door trim is coming loose? If it's the bottom then you just need to get some new clips....

I don't believe that you have a cabin filter.... I think that started with the 98's.... Get some febreeze and spray the crap out of your seats and carpets and that helps a LOT....

Egg farts.... I know that smell! *L*

Well the car doesn't actually smell that bad and no friends or family says it does. I had a cup of starbucks a few weeks ago and let one little air biscuit go and thats where that came from. lol However it does have 155K on it and still runs like a champ! It's soon to be our backup car and/or grocery getter so I want to make sure it last awhile.

The trim is along the bottom of it and I don't see any clips, it's just kind of pinched on there. I was thinking about using some silicone but not sure if that will do more harm than good.

Yeah I did use febreeze.

Thanks for the reply!
