Default 1997 honda accord ex V6

hi guys, this morning i was in a hurry to get to schooland it was a very cold morning here in ottawa canada. i let my car warm up for about 5 minutes and started driving. About 3 minutes later when i approached a red light i stopped and it took about 2-3 mins for the light to turn green. as soon as i started accelerating the engine stalled in gear. I put the car in neutral and turned it back on no problem, it drove like it normally would have after i started it back up. The temp gauge was below the C when this happened and i didnt rev past 2500rpm. any aswers would be appreiciated. i just want to know if this is normal.

Based on your explination it sounds like you just didn't give it enough gas and it stalled.... Has it ever done it before? Any other issues with the car?

No the car doesnt have any problems at all. The engine is a C27A4, and this never happened before it was the first time.

I could be wrong but if it didn't throw a code or anything it sounds like the car simply stalled due to lack of gas on acceleration... Did it jerk or anything then come to a stop?

No the car just turned off while i was about to accelerate. And it turned back on no problem and it never happened again.

check your battery cables and make sure that they are clean and tight... if it happens again you might suspect an alternator, ignition switch or loose wire issue...

If it doesn't happen again I wouldn't worry about it. I too have an Accord with the C27 in it and every now-and-then it does some strange things....
