Smile 1998 Accord Coupe ex 300,000+,how much life left in my baby?

Hey! new here so i guess i'll give a little more detail ..I got a 1998 Honda Accord EX Coupe Automatic V6 a month ago from my cousin It has about 326,000 miles on it (now around 329) and has been in a minor accident (front drivers side) but has been repaired ever since about 8 years ago for $11000. I scanned and have details about it's latest date with the mechanic and passed inspections etc...so i'm in love with this thing and just out of curiosity would like to know how much longer it's going to be around for or until major repairs might come up (trans). I'll eaither post a scanned picture or type what to my knowledge has been checked/repaired/replaced so you can get a better idea of where the vehicle condition is at!. Thanks again

Walmart high milage service Late last year

Most recent which was Replaced by the mechanic

replace right rear calliper
replace L & R Front upper control arms with ball joints
replace right high beam bulb

More details on the car

There is really no set answer to your question. The transmission could last another 100K miles or only last for 10 miles. All you can do is change the transmission fluid at the proper interval. Same with oil changes, etc for the engine.

Do you know how your cousin changed the fluid on the transmission? Also how often?

First, welcome.....There are some issues with the 6th gen's tran's, so be as mindful as you can about that (suggest only Honda Z1 fluid) and keep up with T-Belt changes....my personal experience, you should be happy a/any Honda...I've got a 95 that is just ahead of you-364K.

thank you all for these quick responses! love the warm welcome!, anyway my cousin did in fact keep up with the oil changes all belts, etc so regular maintenance was performed....so anyway i kind of had that logic in my head too, can't really know 100% when things will go just assuming everything is up to speed and taken care of should last me a while longer before i need to make a major repair! (fingers crossed) LOL love this thing TOO MUCH.
