Default 1998 Accord Floor acceleration, LOUD exhaust, no power. Help?

::Symptoms::
~Loud exhaust
~Slow acceleration
~Bad Fuel economy

Hey guys, So i really need some help troubleshooting my problem.

I recently dropped the oil pan on my car to weld up an oil return hole. That part of the project went well. I then put the oil pan back on and that was a success.

What I noticed while driving it the day after this project was when I would try to accelerate, my exhaust would sound really loud, too loud, really deep and it would accelerate really slow.

I am thinking maybe I have an exhaust leak? I somewhat researched the problem and I read online that an exhaust leak wouldnt cause that.
I did have to remove the downpipe to be able to remove the oil pan. So I thought maybe I didnt put it back on right. I literally took off the downpipe (4) different times and bought a new gasket for in between the exhaust manifold and downpipe.

I also replaced my plug wires as well because the metal casing on #(3) that plugs into the distributor had broken off. I thought this was my problem at first but when that didnt work I resorted to taking off the downpipe and putting it back in.

If the oil pan had a leak somewhere would that cause my symptoms?

Sure a big exhaust leak will cause it to loose power, and will sound loud, it needs some back pressure to run properly.

Does a bad catalytic converter sound like it might be causing the issue??
