1998 V6 Accord IAC Valve Replacement
I got a code P404 on the car so I guess I have to replace the IAC. Access to the valvel which is on the bottom of the throttle body is nasty. Do you have to take off the throttle body to replace the valve? Any tricks to the removal of the body? It looks like the air box/hose assembly is tricky.

I removed the throttle body to replace the valve. Just figured I would share what I had to do to remove the throttle body.
Disconnect Battery
Take off Cruise Control clip on airbox
Loosen 4 screws that hold airbox top on (8mm)
Disconnect 3 hoses from air duct
Loosen duct clamp between duct and throttle body
Remove duct and airbox top
Disconnect three electrical connectors on throttle body
Take 3 hoses off throttle body
Remove 4 bolts holding the throttle body
Carefully pry off throttle body
Roll throttle body towards fender (do not remove throttle cables)
My came off clean and I didn't have to replace the gasket (yet).
Easy enough to do. I work slow and it took 2 hours from start to finish.
The IAC valve cost just under $100 at Pep Boys.
