I'd start by determining if you have lack of spark or lack of fuel. A spark tester is an easy way to examine spark. Taking off the snorkel to the throttle body and spraying starting fluid into the throttle body while an assistant is trying to start the car can help determine lack of fuel.
Another quick test is to turn the key to the II position, but do not try to start the car. The fuel pump should turn on for about two seconds during the check engine bulb check. It is a faint whirling/buzzing sound from the back seat, so turn of the radio, blower, etc and listen carefully.
You may want to add a gallon of gas to the tank just to make sure the tank isn't on empty.
