RE: 2000 Accord Auto. Transmission
OK OK I'm starting to worry... I have 106k miles and the car behaves A-OK in normally aspirated conditions, a little too rich if I stomp all the way down from the starting line... I don't street race so that's usually only merging on the expressway.
Here's the transmission problem - the automatic trans isn't shifting fast enough from 2-3 and from 3-4, causing super high revs, especially when I'm juicing it with the Nitrous spray. It gets hung up incurrent gear until I let off on the gas and the NO2. That's not acceptable when I'm trying to get up to speed this quickly...
I think I need to replace the transmission, or the clutch? And, since I'm doing it, I might as well do it with a performance part... any suggestions?

My 2000 4 cyl Accord with 78000 miles starting hard shifting the other day. Took it to the dealer and they tell me I need a new tranny to the tune of $3500!
Is it worth spending this much on an almost 10 year old car? Everything else seems OK and I would like to keep for a couple more years.
Any help is appreciated.

warrenty
go to honda .com and owners link, there is info on the warrenty, the dealer knows the transmission is under warrenty tell 107000 miles without question, they will replace it without cost with a rebuilt and a 36000 mile warrenty on the replacement. go there, i did and got a new transmission. they have a lawsuite against them over this. The dealer is trying to do a number on you. insist and get hold of another dealer if nessary
