Hi
I have a 2000 Ex sedan and just bought an Eclipse AVN726E and waiting for it to arrive. I was wondering how I could route a cable from where the head unit is to right on the dash where it meets the windshield. It comes with a gps antenna and would like to have it located there. Would I have to take off the whole dash to get it there? On the dash near the windshield it has a little cap you can pop off to get to a screw I believe and I'd like to get it to come out there.
Also is there anything you guys recommend as far as security goes? Taking the stock head unit out is really easy and can just imagine someone grabbing the Eclipse after I install it. The car has the stock alarm but I was thinking of something more along the lines of making it harder to remove from the dash.
