2000 Accord - Removing Added Tape Deck
I have a 2000 Accord with the factory cd player but it has the added tape deck below the radio in the center console. I'm taking this out to add an iPod player but when I removed it, theres an area where a plastic piece needs to go to cover up whats under it. Its the area in front of the shifter, some plastic piece that snaps in there. I tried looking on the TAS auto parts web site but couldn't find it. Does anyone know where I could pick one up or the part number for it?

It's #12 in the picture. Honda part number 77280-S84-A11ZA. It's a flip down storage compartment. When you get a new CD player, save the metal brackets on the sides, these will screw into the the new CD player and the flip-down compartment. This way, you won't need to buy an adapter plate thing at an electronics store.

Hey
Sorry didnt do too good job explaining what it is I'm looking for. Its not part of the head unit or connected to it but below in the center console. When the added tape player was there it covered up the back of it. In the Haynes manual it says the part is called "console front cover". Heres a picture of where it should go:

Yes, #14 looks correct, I don't know why they have drawn a hole in the middle of it...
The part number is 77310-S84-A00ZX, the X is the color code: A for Dark Lapis, B for Quartz Gray, C for Medium Taupe. Expect to shell out $30-40 if you order it from Honda.
