Default 2000 Accord se, 4cyl, vtec radiator fan?

I recently swapped out a busted heater hose in my 2000 accord se, in doing so I replaced the radiator coolant. Everything works fine, but my radiator fan never comes on. The car runs fine, temp gage never moves above half. Is this normal..... especially driving in Florida?

did you use full strength coolant?

turn on your AC and see if your fan comes on. if not check to see if you plugged it in all the way, check your fuses.

Does the condensor (driver's side) fan come on? If yes, you have a bad radiator fan, fan relay, damaged wiring, or unplugged as TK suggests.

If neither fan comes on, but they do come on w/ AC, thermoswitch A may have failed open. It's supposed to close when coolant reaches 194F and allow the radiator and condensor fans to cool (w/o AC).

good luck

Check the Common DIY Threads-second from the top-for how to jump thermo/switch a....do the fans come on....double check the connector, busted hose could have gotten coolant in there and cause issues.
