Set the TPS to the proper voltage (0.5 or 0.45V) now that you have the proper connector on it.
I'd also check your fuses incase having the connectors mixed up caused a fuse to blow. There is a quick way using a test light to run through the fuses very quickly. Do a search on youtube on quickly check fuses with a test light.

“b” terminal on the coil also has 12v to ground with key in on position. I don’t think this is right but want to be sure. With key on both a and b terminals have 12 volts to ground.

wire color is yel/blk

timing is confirmed. Not out 180 deg. Should I have 12v to ground on the blk/yel wire with key on and the yel/blk wire on the coil?
