Default 2000 EX V-6 starting and sticking speedo

I'm starting to see a starting problem where the car will crank but not fire maybe once every 50 tries. When this happens, it will start if the gas pedal is depressed. Any ideas? Also, when the car is warm, the speedo will stick in various spots above 40 mph until you slow down below the speed where it stuck.

The car runs fine other than the very seldom starting problem. The ignition switch has never been replaced. The speedometer has been sticking for 5 years. Thanks for the reply.
