Default 2000 Honda Accord Seat not Reclining

I have an Ex 4 cyl , with a driver side seat that includes a motor. i recently had taken out the seats for cleaning and put them back in . After that i was able to slide the seat back and forth but unable to recline it back and forth. I got a new switch for it and it still doesn’t want to recline. I had checked the fuses as well. Any ideas on what i could do next ? aside from checking if there is power going to tge connectors. If there isn’t power going to one off the connectors what would be the fix? any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Testing the connector is the next step. One wire should get power and the other should get ground. The power/ground should switch when you switch back and forth at the switch.

If have have zero voltage, then you need to identify if you are missing voltage or ground. If you have voltage, I think a test light is more useful, as it draws more current to verify the wiring. If the wiring checks out, then you have a bad motor. If not, we can help you work backwards to figure out where the circuit is broken.
