Is there a way to adjust the driver's side front door, so that it doesn't slam shut on my left leg whenI am geting in and out of this recently purchased 2000 Accord LX sedan? The "stop" works fineon all of the other 3 doors.

This problem is especially troublesome when parked on a slightdownward slope from front to back of the Accord, eventhough the door "stop" position works fine on the other 3 doorson the same slight slope.

Is there something that I can do to adjust this door so that itwill stay propped open like the other 3 door do? It also closes in on me when getting out of the car after fully opening said door, and I have to usemy left leg to hold the door open while getting out of this Accord. PLEASE HELP.

 

Hold thr door open with your hand. that's the best way. Ha
