2001 Honda Accord Climate Control Noise
I have a strange sound coming from under my passenger dash. When you turn the dial to adjust the climate control temperature, I've always heard a slight noise from under the passenger dash. Now, sometimes, it just keeps making a kind of clicking noise like it gets stuck making adjustments. It usually only happens once the temperature has balanced out and the fan speed slows down. I replaced the cabin air fitler and cleaned alot of leaves and trash out when I did it. I thought it was fixed, but it's still doing it, but seems to be not as often.
Anyone have any advice?
Thanks in advance.

RE: 2001 Honda Accord Climate Control Noise
You may very well be correct, depending on which door is down there, the mode, the vent / recirc or the heat / cold door, the AC head unit will continue to try to close the door, if the switch in the motor is not made (closed) then the control head still thinks it travelling and just keeps giving it power.
Try different settings on the control panel, can you take it out of auto mode. Do you think it is actually making noise all the time but you cant hear it due to the noise of the faster fan. Do you believe that it is NOT a relay constantly clicking down there?
Although it is not a perfect fix, sometimes these push rods on the doors are adjustable to allow the door motor to achieve full travel but this may effect travel in the opposite direction, it could be leaves blocking the door from closing.
