Default 2002 Accord DX CV Shaft play?

Driver side shaft has 1/4 inch "wiggle" play where it connects to transmission. The passenger side shaft has less wiggle (1/8) inch. Should there be no wiggling at all?

I think there will be some play in the CV joints. I would think that the play would be identical or similar, but I am not sure on that either.

On the driver's side, are you checking the play where the intermediate shaft goes into the transmission, or where the CV joint goes into the intermediate shaft.

Right where the shaft mounts into the transmission. I'm wiggling the shaft up and down.

The inner driver is that part of the axle assembly that makes up the wide end of the inboard CV joint.

Does the small shaft wiggle inside the inner-driver? Or does the entire inner-driver wiggle in the transmission?

Seems like 1/8 is more like it, & 1/4 might be too much. But maybe someone can find it written down as a specification. PA or Poorman or someone who owns a Helm shop manual for 6th-gen?
