2002 Accord SE Creacking/Rattling
Hey everyone,
I bought my 2002 SE 5 speed 4cyl coupe a month or so ago, and so far, the car has been great.
My problem is that there is a constant creacking, rattling, squeaking that is coming from what sounds like the rear window, and only for the first 15-20 mins I'm in the car, after that period, it goes away. The rear window is tinted.
What could this be? Any help would be greatly appreciated...
Also, I have to say that the interior of my accord has quite a few sqeaky, rattling parts and it really gets irritating...has anyone else noticed this in their accords? My mom's 1997 accord EX-R is silent as can be inside the cab.
thanks everyone,
Jason

RE: 2002 Accord SE Creacking/Rattling
These noise seems to be coming from the passenger door molding on the interior...it seems like the vinyl is loose or slightly toughing the dash vinyl, and together they're producing some annoying creaking over every little bump...I'm not sure how to go about fixing this...any suggestions? All I know is that when I push down where the noise seems to be coming from, it stops...this leads me to believe something isn't as tight or fitting as well as it should. One thing it is not is the sunroof, that seems to be reasonably quiet.
any help would be great,
thanks
