You may want to look at the filter on the pump and the screen when you have the time. It definitely would fix the issue you were having. I had a friend with an 01 that couldn't start. Once I changed the filter it fixed his issue.

 

I see. That filter for the pump sounds like a likely culprit. Or just something in the fuel pump system is wrong. It is pretty tough to get in a fuel tank. I am definitely down to try when I have time. In the meantime I think I'm good to go as long as I keep it over 1/4 tank at all times. I'm just glad I fixed it this weekend, because thanksgiving is coming up and I need a car to visit family. I would've had to spend a bunch of money towing it to a mechanic if I didn't get it fixed in the next couple of days.
