2004 2.4L 5 speed
So I was driving home last week and it felt like the clutch was slipping didnt have any throttle response though bit this weekend i put new clutch pressure plate flywheel and throwout bearing in now same issue so its not the clutch
I was going down the road 62 63mph lost all forward power no throttle response downshift still nothing noticed at a stop light it did it in every gear it would cut out at 2600-2700 rpm I normaly shift at 3000rpm wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what im dealing with

Sounds like engine problems from the very beginning.
For the benefit of others reading this, a slipping clutch acts the same as if you'd press down the clutch pedal a tiny bit. While accelerating the engine RPM will suddenly increase, just like as if you press down the clutch pedal. I don't think I'd ever use the phrase "losing throttle response" for a slipping clutch.
Sorry, don't really mean to bash your post, because we all had to learn this stuff when we were beginning to wrench on cars. And maybe the clutch was nearing the end of life anyway so the work wasn't wasted.
But I'd look at a few things on the engine.
Any recent work of any kind?
Any check-engine lights? What error codes?
Fuel pressure?
Maybe look at whether your spark gets weak at high RPM? (coils?)
ps... I just posted this to your thread over in the "new user" area. But I'm going to delete it there so it doesn't become a duplicate thread. This is a better place for the topic.

Clutch was going out I did need to change it and I am happy I did as it did fine the first little test drive I did but this morning on my way to work it was doing the same im an average driver of 5speeds but im still learning the wrenching stuff on all cars im good with remove and replace but do not know diagnostics and no I've never changed accelerated pedal sensor
