Default 2004 Honda Accord power locks don’t work

I just bought a 2004 Honda accord. The keyless entry remote triggers an electrical response with the power locks, but it doesn’t actually get them to lock or unlock. It just causes slight movement on all the locks. Would that be an actuator problem, or is that some thing else? I’ve never had a problem like this before.

I would t think every actuator went bad at the same time. Does your driver side master switch work as intended? It may need to be replaced since that's what receives the signal from the fob.

No the master doesn’t work correctly either. It acts like it’s trying to trigger the locks to respond, but they only make the sound a little bit and don’t actually move. What part would need to be replaced exactly?

Try replacing one of the actuators (driver door).
If that door locks afterwards, then replace the others.
